1. Sign Up

  • Register online at insta-tools.org.
  • No income or insurance requirements.
  • Prefer in-person?

2. Borrow Tools

  • Choose from our growing collection: rakes, shovels, mowers, wheelbarrows, pruners, gloves, safety gear, and more (subject to current inventory).
  • Our team will help you find what you need.

3. Get Support

  • Friendly volunteers show you how to use tools, help with loading and unloading, and can deliver tools if you do not have a car.
  • One on one help is available for first time users.

4. Return When Done

  • Bring tools back when you are finished so others can use them.
  • We handle all maintenance and check in.

  • Twice a Month:
    Join hands on workshops on tool safety, fire prevention, soil prep, and more.
    Sign up online or in person. All are welcome—no prior experience needed.
  • Peer Support:
    Meet neighbors, share tips, and build community connections.
